with wheelchair through Thailand
A 90-minute slide show.
We are led on a three-month long trip to Bangkok’s vibrant city atmosphere and the fascinating landscape of Thailand in the north, south and east. We experience the Buddhist community together with the major tourist industry.
We visit temples with gilded giant statues of Buddha and move around in the old fairy tale-like royal palace, the Grand Palace.
We drive up the Golden Triangle in the mountainous northern Thailand. Here we see how the peasants and the Water Buffalo's is working in the numerous rice ledge. We have a surprising meeting with the Akha people in a small village.
We experience an overwhelming hospitality in eastern Thailand, where we live in a small village and visit the locals.
We relax at the white sandy beaches, with small bungalow, waving palms and deep blue sea.
The speech also deals with the opportunities and difficulties connected to travel as a backpacker and have a wheelchair as main baggage. I will tell about the considerations and preparations I have done before my departure.
